Applying Pawzecure

STEP 1 — Prepare & Lubricate the ToeGrips

Use isopropyl/rubbing alcohol to safely lubricate the Nail Grips.

Pour a small amount into a container and immerse 16 Nail Grips (one for each weight-bearing nail — do not use on dew claws).

Remove one ToeGrip while it’s still wet to prep for application.

STEP 2 — Stabilise the Toe

Hold and support the dog’s toe firmly so it doesn't twist during application.

Proper stabilisation protects the nail bed and keeps the process comfortable and safe for the dog.

STEP 3 — Press & Slide the ToeGrip Into Position

Press the Nail Grip onto the tip of the nail, then use your fingertips to work it upward.

Make sure the bottom of the Nail Grip sits at the back tip of the nail — this creates the essential Grip Zone that contacts the floor.

If it sits too high, it becomes decorative and gives no traction.

STEP 4 — Final Placement & Safety Check

Slide the top of the Nail Grip just high enough so it stays securely in place.

Ensure it does NOT touch the nail bed, which could irritate sensitive tissue.

Repeat the process for all nails and monitor at home to ensure the Grip Zone stays correctly positioned.

Different Paw Sizes? Here’s What to Do

Sometimes a dog’s front nails and back nails are not the same circumference, which means they may not fit into the same ToeGrip size. While the right and left paws are typically identical, the front paws can measure slightly larger or smaller than the hind paws depending on the dog’s build, weight distribution, or gait patterns.

If the measurements fall into two different size ranges on the chart, the dog may need one size for the front nails and a different size for the hind nails to ensure proper traction, safety, and a secure fit.
